1. Our commitment
Ally Secure is committed to making allysecure.com usable by as many people as possible, including people who use assistive technology such as screen readers, screen magnification, voice control, or keyboard-only navigation. Accessibility is treated as an ongoing responsibility, not a one-time fix.
2. Conformance target
This Site targets conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). WCAG defines requirements for making web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities.
3. Measures we've taken
- Semantic HTML landmarks (header, nav, main, footer) and a logical heading structure on every page.
- A "Skip to main content" link for keyboard and screen reader users.
- Visible keyboard focus indicators on all interactive elements, including links, buttons, service cards, and the governance lifecycle wheel.
- Descriptive alternative text on meaningful images, and
aria-hiddenon purely decorative graphics. - ARIA labeling and live regions on dynamic components, including the AI Governance Maturity Assessment and the cookie preferences dialog.
- Color combinations checked against WCAG AA contrast minimums (4.5:1 for body text, 3:1 for large text and UI components).
- Support for the
prefers-reduced-motionsetting, which disables non-essential animation for users who have that preference enabled at the operating system level. - A responsive layout that adapts from small mobile screens through large desktop displays without loss of content or function.
- A fully keyboard-operable mobile navigation menu and cookie preferences dialog, including support for closing dialogs with the Escape key.
4. Compatible technologies
This Site is designed to be compatible with recent versions of major browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge) and commonly used assistive technologies, including screen readers such as VoiceOver, NVDA, and JAWS, and standard operating system screen magnification and voice control tools.
5. Known limitations
Despite our efforts, some content may not yet be fully accessible. Known areas we are actively monitoring include:
- Third-party embedded content (such as future LinkedIn or Substack embeds on the Insights page), which may be subject to the accessibility practices of those platforms.
- Complex data visualizations, such as the governance lifecycle wheel, which are paired with an equivalent text description but may not fully replicate the visual experience for all assistive technologies.
We are committed to remediating issues as they are identified.
6. Feedback and contact
If you encounter an accessibility barrier on this Site, or need information in an alternative format, please contact us:
- Email: accessibility@allysecure.com
We aim to acknowledge accessibility feedback within two business days and to provide a substantive response or remediation timeline within ten business days.
